We have all heard about fight or flight. You would think that this response would be split down the middle in terms of probability distribution - we would be as likely to fight as we would to flee. The problem is the fight requires courage - it requires standing out from the crowd, it means going against the flow - it means swimming against the tide and moving contrary to the consensus, because humans are more designed to follow than to lead.
